Imphal, March 06 2025: The second day of the 37th N Hazari & Dr N Tombi State Polo Tournament 2025 delivered high-octane action as Samadon Ayangba Polo Club, Arbind Polo Club, and Ibudhou Marjing Polo Club showcased their dominance in contrasting styles, securing decisive wins.

Samadon Ayangba Polo Club stormed to a resounding 10-0 victory over Universal Polo Club-B, delivering a masterclass in precision and teamwork.

The squad surged to a 3-0 lead in the opening chukker, fuelled by a brace from Sh Thailand and a clinical finish by K Romeo Meitei.

Momentum soared in the second chukker as Romeo Meitei completed a hat-trick, supported by Jacky Maibam's lone goal.

L Somachandra extended the lead with two goals in the third chukker, before K Sanand and P Samanand sealed the rout with a goal apiece in the final stretch, leaving Universal Polo Club-B scoreless.

Arbind Polo Club secured a convincing 7-2 triumph against Thoubal District Polo Association, led by Ak Ebomcha's standout hat-trick.

Teammates O Chinglensana and Th Bonyson bolstered the scoreline with two goals each, showcasing fluid coordination.

Despite a valiant effort from Thoubal's M Anildash Singh, who netted both of his team's goals, Arbind's relentless attack and defensive discipline proved insurmountable.

The day's most thrilling clash saw Ibudhou Marjing Polo Club edge out K&MMRS 8-7 in a heart-stopping contest.

N Sankar spearheaded the charge with a hat-trick, while N Premananda and H Pritam contributed two goals each, complemented by N Sadanand's decisive strike.

K&MMRS's Ch Ajit dazzled with a heroic three-goal effort supplemented by L Dhaneshor's double and one each from W Kedarnath and W Johny, but his valiant performance fell short as Marjing's tenacity secured them a dramatic win.
