Buncely claims senior men's title at Pravabati State Bodybuilding Championship

Imphal, May 27 2025: Chongtham Buncely Meitei of Ogust Gym emerged as the senior men's overall champion at the 3rd Pravabati State Level Bodybuilding Championship 2025, held on Monday at Wangkhei Mei-houbam Lampak in Imphal East.

Demonstrating exceptional form and conditioning, Chongtham Buncely triumphed over four other contenders to secure the top position in the senior men's bodybuilding category.

Wankheirakpam Priyobarta Singh, representing the Laing Tuang Kamei Foundation, earned the runner-up spot, while Rohit Konsam of Pravabati FC rounded out the top three.

In the junior division, Mayanglambam Olenjit Singh of DJ Gym claimed first place.

He was followed by Sinam Momocha from Ogust Gym in second, and Yumnam Thomas of KBB Gym in third.

The sub junior category saw Barun Ningombam from Muscle Factory take the top honour, with Ricky son Mais-nam of Radiant Alpha Fitness and Kumam Shrinivash Singh from Shajen Shang Moirang securing second and third place, respectively.

In the men's physique (under 170 cm) category, Ngangbam Lemngan Meitei of Body Perfect Fitness Gym secured first place.

Babloo Nongmeirakpam from Pravabati Fitness Centre finished second, while Phijam Sandeep Singh of Perfect Fitness Centre claimed third.

The men's physique (above 170 cm) title was awarded to Ningthoujam Nebenchand of KBB Gym, followed by Nongmaithem A Singh from DJ Gym in second place and Md Ryan of A-3-Fitness in third.
