AKSA win 5-1 in DFA Moirang Ist Divn Football League opener

Imphal, October 26 2025: Faruque Ahmed scored a treble to lead AKSA, Kwakta to a 5-1 win over UYT, Thamnapokpi as the 4th Philem Irabot 1 st Division Football League kicked off at Moirang Multipurpose Hr Secondary School playground.

Md Faruque Ahmed was on target in the 30th, 63rd and 71st minutes to seal the decisive win for the Kwakta side as Md Sera (42') and Md Ziaul Haque (78') contributed a goal apiece.

The consolation goal for UYT was scored by M Chinglemba in the 83rd minute.

As many as 6 teams clubbed into two groups are participating in the tournament organised by the District Football Association, Moirang.
