MATA to hold senior state taekwondo trial on June 26

Imphal, June 21 2025: The Manipur Amateur Taekwondo Association (MATA) will conduct an open selection trial for senior athletes (Kyorugi/Poomsae) on June 26, 2025 at Dojang Kongba, Kongba Kshetri Leikai.

The trial is being held in preparation for the 4th Senior National Taekwondo Championship 2025, set to take place from August 8 to 10 .

The upcoming trial will also serve as a pathway for selection to the Wuxi 2025 World Taekwondo Championship.

Athletes must hold valid India Taekwondo UIDs and MATA registrations.

All registrations must be submitted by June 25, 2025.Coaches and academies have been urged to ensure timely registration of eligible athletes.
