AKSDO crush YPHUC wickets in 3rd MNCA Women's T-20 Trophy

Imphal, June 19 2025: AKSDO made light work of YPHUC, while PTCC emerged victorious in a nail-biting contest against SHADOW in Thursday's fixtures of the 3rd MNCA Women's T-20 Trophy.

AKSDO crushed YPHUC by 9 wickets in a one-side affair at THAU Ground.

YPHUC elected to bat first, but their innings crumbled as they were bowled out for a meagre 41 in 17.3 overs.

The AKSDO (W) bowlers were relentless, with Rabina Khundrakpam (2/5), Bijiya Khundrakpam (2/7), and Lu-cyrani Khundrakpam (2/9) sharing the spoils.

Only Suchitra Devi Waikhom (13 off 36 balls) offered any resistance for YPHUC (W) .

In response, AKSDO (W) chased down the target in just 3.5 overs, losing only 1 wicket.

Alish Thokchom (19* off 12) and Olebia Khundrakpam (16 off 9) made light work of the total, sealing a comprehensive 9-wicket victory.

Meanwhile, PTCC beat SHADOW by 5 runs.

PTCC opted to bat after winning the toss and posted a competitive total of 87/1 in their allotted 10 overs.

Laishram Teresa was the standout performer with a blistering 47 off just 32 balls, including 5 fours and a six, while captain Thoudam Mangalsana contributed an unbeaten 29.Kebriya Devi Sapam was the pick of the bowlers for SHADOW, taking 1 wicket for just 9 runs in her 2 overs.

In reply, SHADOW fought valiantly but fell short by 5 runs, finishing at 82/2.Kebriya Devi Sapam shone with the bat as well, scoring 45 off 34 deliveries, but her efforts weren't enough to secure victory.

Silapriyari Chanu Hijam and Angoubi Devi Khundrakpam claimed a wicket each for PTCC, ensuring their team walked away with the win.
