MPSC teams, KVWA, YWO, YLK reach State handball semis

Imphal, May 18 2025: Both MPSC men's and women's teams delivered commanding performances in Sunday's fixtures, securing their places in the semifinals of the 7th State Level Senior Men & Women Handball Tournament 2025.The MPSC men's side dominated their group with two convincing victories - first overpowering OYO 28-14, then defeating NSU 26-17 - to comfortably progress to the last four.

Meanwhile, the women's team cruised past SSC with a decisive 22-7 win.

KVWA's men's team also booked their semifinal spot with a resounding 21-7 triumph over KKLYDO, while YWO narrowly edged out OYO 24-23 in a closely fought encounter.

Elsewhere, YLK's men's team thrashed KKLYDO 26-11 for their place in the last four, and their women s side produced a dominant display to overpower KKLYDO and seal their semifinal berth.

In the women's semifinals, MPSC will face YLK, while IMC are set to take on KVWA.

On the men's side, MPSC will go head-to-head with ESU, and KVWA will meet YWO for a place in the final.
