PTCC, AMCA, THAU script big wins in MNCA Boys' U-14 Tournament

PTCC, AMCA and THAU recorded comprehensive wins in Saturday's fixtures of the 4th MNCA Boys U-14 Tournament 2024-25.PTCC hammered WYC by 375 runs at the SEDOC Ground in Kongba Dhobi Lampak.
Electing to bat first, PTCC amassed a colossal 385/1 in their allotted overs, powered by Somobanta's sensational unbeaten 212 and Ningombam Roberson's fluent 100*.Venison Yumnam (2) was the lone batter dismissed, falling to Laishram Jenish's bowling.
In reply, WYC crumbled spectacularly, skittled for a paltry 10 runs in just 10.3 overs.
Nungchengba Soraisam starred with a stunning 9-wicket haul, while Haarishor Mayangbam claimed the final scalp to seal PTCC's emphatic triumph.
AMCA dominated SDO with a crushing 316-run win.
Batting first, AMCA posted 347/7, anchored by Khulakpam Fariyaz Khan's unbeaten 122 and Md Sarif's aggressive 102.Mm Altaf chipped in with a brisk 25.For SDO, Mayangmayum Arshad stood out with three wickets.
AMCA's bowlers then dismantled SDO for a meagre 31 in 11.1 overs.
Sahid Khulakpam (4/8) and Md Wajid Khan (4/12) spearheaded the attack, ably supported by Hanif and K Fariyaz Khan, who took a wicket apiece.
At Khudeiband Lampak, Taothong, THAU secured a 5-wicket win over TCMDC.
Asked to field first, THAU restricted TCMDC to 135/8, with Rojesh Athokpam and Laimayum Tejus Sharma claiming two wickets each.
Yumnam Tomthinnganba top-scored for TCMDC with a gritty 51.In response, THAU reached 139/5 in 22.1 overs, guided by Konthoujam Tomthinganba's match-winning 88*.Khundrakpam Bidyananda (11*) and Laimayum Tejus Sharma (10) provided crucial support to seal the chase.
