FC Raengdai edge Classic FA as SU, DMRO split points

Imphal, May 10 2025: FC Raengdai laboured to a 1-0 win over Classic FA, while Sagolband United and DMRAO played to a goalless draw in the 2nd Premier League 2025-26 clashes on Saturday at Artificial Turf Ground, Lamlong Thongkhong.

In a tightly contested Group A clash, a first-half strike from Shoraisham Sagar Singh proved decisive as FC Raengdai secured all three points.

The side looked the brighter in the opening exchanges, with their attacking intent rewarded in the 24th minute when Sagar pounced on a loose ball in a crowded penalty area and calmly slotted home.

After the interval, Classic FA pushed for an equaliser, but Raengdai's resolute defence held firm to ensure they saw out the match with a hard-fought clean sheet.

Meanwhile, Sagolband United and DMRAO shared the spoils in a match of few clear chances, with neither side able to break the deadlock in a 0-0 draw.
