2nd Premier League: Rohit nets to help FC Raengdai beat SSU 1-0

Imphal, May 02 2025: A second-half strike from substitute Konsam Rohit Singh earned FC Raengdai a gritty 1-0 win over SSU in Friday's 2nd Premier League encounter at Artificial Turf Ground, Lamlong Thongkhong.

The game was a cagey affair for much of the 90 minutes, with both sides struggling to break the deadlock in a frustrating first half.

The second period saw the momentum swing back and forth until FC Raengdai's coach made a decisive change in the 61st minute, introducing forward Konsam Rohit Singh in place of Laishram Bikramjit.

The substitution paid off just 17 minutes later, as Rohit seized on a perfectly weighted pass before unleashing an exquisite finish in the 78th minute to put his side ahead.

Despite late pressure from SSU, FC Raengdai stood firm to see out the win and claim all three points.
