MP Bimol felicitates SAFE U-17 women's champs

Imphal, October 31 2025: The Lok Sabha MP of Inner Manipur Parliamentary Constituency Dr Angomcha Bimol Akoijam today felicitated six State footballers who were recently crowned the SAFF U-17 Women's champions.

The champions - Joyshini Huidrom, Longjam Nira Chanu, Tamphasana Konjengbam, Sarangthem Alena Devi, Taniya Tonambam, and Julan Nongmaithem � were honoured for their commitment, discipline, and contribution to the Nation's triumph during the felicitation cum interaction programme, said a press release issued in this regard.

During the interaction, Dr Akoijam conveyed his pride in their achievement and extended his best wishes as they prepare for the AFC U-17 Women's Asian Cup 2026, the release said.

The MP also noted that their dedication and perseverance have brought honour to the State, and they must continue to do so, inspiring the youth of Manipur with their discipline and excellence, it continued.
