42nd Inter District & 69th State Open Badminton Championships from June 5

Imphal, May 28 2025: The Manipur State Badminton Association (MSBA) has announced that it will organise the 42nd Inter District and the 69th State Open Badminton Championships 2025 (Part II) from June 5 to 8 at the MSBA Indoor Stadium, Kabo Leikai, Imphal West.

According to a revised MSBA circular, the championships will include the Inter District event for junior boys and girls, alongside the State Open tournament.

Entry submissions will open on May 28 and close on June Is at 7:30 pm .

Entry forms can be submitted between 8 am - 10:30 am and 3 pm - 7:30 pm .

The last date to withdraw entries is June 2 .

Players must hold a valid BAI-ID to compete, though those who have applied for one will also be permitted.

The names of participants will be displayed on the MSBA notice board on June 3 .

Any errors in player details must be reported by 12 noon on June 4 .

The team event draw will take place on June 4, with open event draws scheduled for June 5 at 3 pm.

Matches will be played using the Yonex AS-2 shuttlecock.

The championships will be conducted in accordance with the General Competition Regulations of the Badminton Association of India (BAI) and the Badminton World Federation (BWF) .
