Handball: CYDOL, SROY, YLK, OYO script wins

Imphal, February 26 2025: CYDOL, SROY, YLK and OYO recorded commanding victories in the 36th State Level Mini Boys & Girls Handball Tournament 2025 at CYCL Ground, Singjamei Chingamathak, on Wednesday.

CYDOL launched their campaign in style, overpowering SROY with a decisive 23-9 victory.

Spearheading the charge was M Heramani, who dazzled with a game-high 11 goals, supported by Y Indrajit's clinical 8-goal contribution.

Lanchenba Kh and I Hemanta rounded out the scoring with 2 goals each.

In the second boys' fixture, OYO asserted their dominance with a 12-6 triumph over KKLYDO.

Rising star Ksh Yaithoiba starred for OYO, netting an impressive 8 goals to secure their team's comfortable win.

The YLK girls' squad delivered a masterclass, first dismantling MRC with a ruthless 10-0 shutout.

N Selena led the charge with 5 goals, while Th Merina and N Sophya added 2 apiece.

Kh Sweety capped off the one-sided affair with a solo strike.

On the other hand, SROY's girls outclassed MFC 8-4 .

M Shipa emerged as the standout performer, scoring 6, while H Sumitra added a brace to seal the victory.
