MFC register 6-3 victory over SFC in 6t h KAYO Trophy

Imphal, May 20 2025: Moirangcha FC delivered a dominant performance, defeating Salai FC 6-3 in the 6th KAYO Trophy at Kumbi Kangjeibung Ground on Tuesday.

Newton set the tone for Moirangcha, breaking the deadlock in the 13th minute.

Rohit then doubled the lead with a quickfire brace in the 20th and 22nd minutes, putting his side firmly in control at 3-0.Salai FC fought back through Aton (25') and Albet (32'), reducing the deficit, but Akash (34') and Newton (36') - with his second of the match - restored Moirangcha's two-goal advantage.

Albet struck again in the 38th minute to keep Salai FC with in touching distance, but Rohit sealed the victory in style, completing his hat-trick in the 40th minute to ensure a resounding 6-3 win for Moirangcha FC .
