FC Raengdai steamroll IYFC in 2nd Premier League

Imphal, May 17 2025: FC Raengdai produced a ruthless attacking display to demolish IYFC 9-0 in Saturday's clash of the 2nd Premier League at Artificial Turf Ground, Lamlong Thongkhong.

Kamei Langanglung Kabui and Shoraisham Sagar led the onslaught, scoring a hat-trick and a brace respectively.

Kamei Langanglung opened the floodgates with a 17th-minute strike, with Sagar adding a second just seven minutes later.

The relentless pressure continued as Langanglung struck again in the 44th minute, before Soraisham Surjakanta compounded IYFC's misery with a fourth goal on the stroke of half-time.

After the break, FC Raengdai showed no mercy, picking up where they left off.

Sagar set the tone for another dominant half, slotting home his second in the 52nd minute.

Substitute Ganningam Malangmei then made an immediate impact, adding a sixth in the 61st minute, before fellow substitute Chungampou Kamei struck just a minute later to make it 7-0.Langanglung completed his hat-trick in the 72nd minute, capping off a superb individual display.

The humiliation was complete when Thounaojam Mukesh turned the ball into his own net four minutes later, sealing an emphatic 9-0 victory for Raengdai.
