CRPF organises football match at Haraothel village

Imphal, May 16 2025: A sub-unit of 158 Bn CRPF organised a football match at Haraothel village with an aim of fostering bonhomie and positive relationship among the troops of the sub-unit and the villagers of Haraothel and Alphaijan yesterday.

The event was organised by Commanding Officer of the sub-unit (D/158 Bn CRPF), Sudhir Kumar under the supervision of Sanjay Negi, Commandant of 158 Bn CRPF, said CRPF in a statement.

Haraothel village emerged victorious in the said match, it said while adding the prizes were distributed to both the teams by Commanding Officer of the sub-unit (D/158 Bn CRPF), Sudhir Kumar after the match.

Locals of both the villages praised the role of CRPF for organising the sporting event that also aimed at improving the sportsman spirit amongst them.

They also expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Commandant of 158 Bn CRPF .
