Ng Nungshithoi settles for bronze at 69th NSG Cycling

Imphal, January 16 2026: Ngangbam Nungshithoi has won Manipur a bronze medal at the 69th National School Games Cycling for U-14, U-17 boys and girls being underway at Ranchi.

Nungshithoi's medal came in the individual pursuit event, a day after Poireinganba Chanambam and Thangjam Lamnganba bagged a gold medal apiece, Yumnam Sushil and Mayengbam Henthoi Singh settled for a silver medal apiece.

Ngangbam Nungshithoi is the daughter of Ngangbam Bijen and Ngangbam Romita of Keirao Bitra Awang Leikai.

She currently studies in Class IX at Irilbung High School.

Yesterday, Thangjam Lamnganba bagged a gold medal in the U-14 boys' 14 km mass start event as Yumnam Sushil bagged a silver medal in the 500m individual time trial for U-17 boys.

Poireinganba Chanambam and Mayengbam Henthoi Singh meanwhile made 1-2 podium finishes in the U-14 boys' 500 m individual time trial event.
