Imphal, October 14 2025: 69 Bn CRPF, Mantripukhri kicked off a football tournament yesterday at Malom Makha Leikai under the aegis of Manipur and Nagaland Sector CRPF.

The tournament organised under Khelo India programme in collaboration with YDC Malom is sponsored by SAL The opening ceremony of the 16-team tournament was attended by H Premjit, DIG CRPF Imphal Range as chief guest in the presence of SA Rojan Zimik, Commdt 69 Bn CRPF, jawans and officials of YDC, said a press release issued by 69 Bn CRPF .

The event organised with the aim of promoting sportsmanship, physical fitness and youth engagement through sports saw enthusiastic participation from the locals, it said.

In the opening match, YDC edged out SWC by 3-2 goals before NBCA FC outlasted Sawombung Students' Club on penalties after a regulation time draw.
