Kakching, August 11 2025: Iboton Memorial Academy (IMA), Wangoi on Monday felicitated its students Mutum Mangal, Mayanglambam Albert and Waikhom Rohit, who were part of the Manipur team that won the Junior Boys' National Football Championship for Dr BC Roy Trophy 2025-26 .

The felicitation programme held at Wangoi Bazar community hall was attended by social worker W Amutombi, IMA chairman Wahengbam Jadumani, principal Sagolsem Asha Devi, W Sanajaoba, Th Khomei and Th Manao as presidium members, along with academy's teaching and non-teaching staff, and students.

At the event, the three players were presented with simple gifts by the dignitaries.

It can be recalled that Manipur had defeated West Bengal 3-0 in final to lift the Dr BC Roy Trophy 2025-26 after 25-year gap.

The tournament was held at Guru Nanak Dev University Sports Complex, Amritsar, Punjab from July 20 to 30 .
