Easy wins for FORCE, PCC in MNCA Women's U-19 Trophy

FORCE and PCC delivered dominant performances in Saturday's league matches of the 3rd MNCA Women's U-19 One Day Trophy.
FORCE thumped PSC by 9 wickets in their meeting at SEDOC Ground.
Electing to bat first, PSC collapsed for a meagre 35 runs in just 17 overs, with Rahmatun Khanam wreaking havoc.
The bowler claimed an astonishing 6 wickets for 6 runs in her 7-over spell, including 3 maidens, while Barkatun Khanam chipped in with 2 wickets.
PSC's innings never gained momentum, with only Moirangthem Victoria (5 off 2 balls) and Vaelina Potsangbam (5 off 3) reaching double figures.
In response, FORCE (W) chased down the target in just 3.3 overs, losing only one wicket.
Barkatun Kha-nam starred again, smashing 31 off 17 balls (4 fours, 2 sixes) to seal a 9-wicket win.
The other match saw PCC dominated PTCC by 8 wickets in a rain-affected match at THAU Ground.
PTCC opted to bat but were bundled out for 77 in 22 overs, thanks to Hemam Ling-jen Devi's brilliant 5-wick-et haul (15 runs in 7 overs).
Chongtham Dimple (12 off 46) and Niruka (8 off 22) offered brief resistance.
Chasing a revised target of 47 in 14 overs (VJD method), PCC cruised to victory in 13.1 overs with 8 wickets in hand.
Captain Nongthombam Langlenthoibi Chanu led from the front, scoring 21 off 23 balls (4 fours), while Niruka (1/4) and Khundrakpam Anjali Devi (1/13) took wickets for PTCC .
