Imphal, May 09 2025: Manipur celebrated success in Sepaktakraw while their girls' football team delivered a commanding performance to secure a semifinal berth at the Khelo India Youth Games 2025 .

In the Sepaktakraw - regu event, Manipur's girls' team clinched the gold medal after a decisive 2-0 victory over hosts Bihar in the final.

The team displayed exceptional skill and coordination, sweeping the match in straight sets to claim the top podium finish.

However, the boys' team faced disappointment in their semifinal clash against Nagaland, suffering a 0-2 defeat.

Despite the loss, they secured a bronze medal, adding to Manipur's impressive haul in the discipline.

With these results, Manipur concluded their Sepaktakraw campaign at the Khelo India Youth Games with a remarkable tally of six medals - four golds, one silver, and one bronze.

In girls' football, Manipur delivered a dominant 5-0 victory over Delhi in their final group-stage match.
