Manipur settle for bronze in 4x200m relay at Junior Nationals

Imphal, August 06 2025: Manipur secured a commendable third-place finish in the boys 4x200m freestyle relay event on Day 4 of the 51st Junior National Aquatic Championships 2025, currently underway in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

Clocking a time of 8 minutes 43.28 seconds, the state quartet displayed determination and teamwork to secure the bronze medal in a competitive field.

Karnataka emerged victorious with a winning time of 8:24.14, while Tamil Nadu followed closely to take silver, finishing at 8:27.81 .

The relay event featured teams from other states including Maharashtra, Kerala, and Bengal, but they did not make the podium in this particular event.

The result marks another significant achievement for the Manipur swimming contingent.
