Imphal, July 30 2026: Clinton Oinam eased his way to the Elite Men's -70 kg category final on the third day of the ongoing State Level Boxing Championships 2026 at Khuman Lampak Boxing Arena.

Clinton of Imphal West knocked out Md Suhail Kalam of Imphal East in the third round to make his way into the final after Laishram Shairaj of Imphal West posted an RSC win over Th Amuthoi of Imphal East in the third round to enter Elite Men's -65 kg category final.

U-19 Men

The day also saw Yubraj Angom of Bishnupur register and RSC win in the third round against Ayush Prasad of Imphal East to seal his place in the U19 Men's -75 kg category final.

In an U19 Men's -70 kg category semi-final bout, Hemam Rajdaneil of Bishnupur sealed an RSC win in the first round against Chandel's Songnem Shetminthang Lamkang to reach the final.

In the U19 Men's -65 kg category semi-final bouts staged today, Keisham Thoungamba of Imphal East sealed an RSC win over W Bush of Imphal West in the first round as Ngathingshang Valui of Ukhrul beat Thoubal's Laishram Max in the same fashion.

In the -60 kg category semi-final bouts, Johnson Khoirom of Imphal West earned a walkover win before Khaidem Lanchenba of Kakching overwhelmed Md Abdul Noor of Imphal East to complete the final line up.

U-15 Girls

Chithung Jessica of Senapati prevailed 5-0 via unanimous decision to outlast Kakching P Hena and enter the U15 Girls' -40 kg category final today.

Later, Khundrakpam Tania of Imphal East beat Bishnupur's M Prabin to reach the -43 kg category final; Moirangthem Sonia of Imphal East beat Thoudam Changkhonbi of Kakching to enter -46 kg category final.

The -49 kg final line up later completed with Yumnam Lamnganbi of Kakching beating Bishnupur's N Puwari and S Soma of Imphal East beating Thoubal's N Priyangka.

In the -55 kg category semi-final bouts, L Joshita of Imphal West prevailed 5-0 over Imphal East's Ch Debika and Ng Binao of Thoubal outlasted Bishnupur's H Henthoi.

U-17 Girls

Lumjainliu Kamei of Noney meanwhile earned a walkover win in a semi-final match of the U17 Girls -46 kg category event as Naorem Suma of Imphal West and Imphal East's Sarangthem Linthoi Chanu made to the -52 kg final by beating Sara Laishram of Thoubal and Chandel's Maku Phairong Binita respectively 5-0 via unanimous decisions.

The -54 kg category final line up was also completed with Thongbam Phabisana of Bishnupur crushing Y Lanthoibi of Imphal East and Sinam Ibesana of Thoubal beating Kapesa Bariamtak of Tamenglong in the semi-final bouts.

Lairenlakpam Subhaluxmi of Imphal East later reached the -60 kg category final with a walkover win.

U-19 Women

Later in the day, Ningthoujam Anjali of Kakching overwhelmed Thoubal's M Alina 5-0 to set up the U19 Women's -48 kg category final date with Noney's Gunshalu Khumba who registered an identical win over M Khrismira of Imphal West in the other semi-final match.

In the -51 kg category semi-final bouts staged later, Lanchalu Malangmei of Tamenglong prevailed 5-0 over Imphal East's Ch Reena and Khaidem Manganthoi of Kakching edged out Imphal West's N Ashakiran 4-1 .

Loitongbam Luxmi of Bishnupur (-54 kg) and Thoudam Daina of Bishnupur (-65 kg) also emerged victorious to seal their places in the finals.

Elite Women's

Huidrom Karuna and Wangjam Ethoibi were also seen entering Elite Women's -48 kg category final with 5-0 semi-final wins over their rivals.

Karuna of Thoubal outlasted Bishnupur's Y Venika while Ethoibi eased past Rinngam Vashi of Ukhrul.
