Manipur seal overall team champions title at Sub-Junior Judo Nationals

Imphal, November 21 2025: Manipur judokas reigned supreme to lift the overall team champions' trophy at the Sub-Junior National Judo Championship that was held from November 16 to 20 at Hyderabad under the auspices of the Judo Federation of India.

State boys collected 3 gold, 1 silver and 4 bronze medals and girls sealed 3 gold and 1 bronze medal to emerge the overall team champions.

In the girls' competition, S Kananbala (44 kg), Chinglennganbi (48 kg), and Th Lanchenbi (52 kg) bagged gold medals as Ng Linthoi (57 kg) settled for the bronze medal.

Meanwhile in the boys' competition, M Abhijit (45 kg), AK Robertson (60 kg), and K Korouwangba (66 kg) clinched gold medals as M Devjit (50 kg) won a silver medal.

Th Vivek (40 kg), L Chingkheinganba (55 kg), and L Danial (57 kg) meanwhile settled for the bronze medal.

The team were led by Ch Tomba as manager, N Seema as girls' coach and Th Athoiba as boys' coach.
