3rd MNCA U-19 Men's One Day Trophy : RCA, PCC declared joint winners as rain washes out final match

RCA, Lilong and PCC, Mayaikoibi were declaredjoint winners of the 3rd MNCA U-19 Men's One Day Trophy after the final match was abandoned due to rain at Model Hr Secondary and Oriental College ground today.
RCA had amassed 213 runs for 9 wickets in the allotted 40 overs after opting to bat first thanks to Zamir Khan's 83-ball 71 and PCC were 56/4 in 11 overs when rain played spoilsport and the match was abandoned.
Kangujam Boocker had picked 5 wickets for 61 runs in 8 overs for PCC in the first innings.
Md Anush 24 off 36 balls, Md Safwan Ahamed 36 off 51 balls and Zuned 20 off 10 balls also managed double digit scores for RCA as Thokchom Lucky returned with 2/60 in 8 overs for PCC .
Takhelmayum Vikash 5 off 11 balls, and Thokchom Lucky 5 off 6 balls were unbeaten for the 5th partnership after Ziad Khan 20 off 20 balls and Wairokpam Max 16 off 18 balls departed when rain forced the match to abandon.
Joint winners RCA and PCC were feted with a cash prize of Rs 40,000 apiece along with a trophy.
Thokchom Lucky, who collected 26 wickets in 9 innings, was named highest wicket taker and feted with a cash prize of Rs 2,500 and a trophy while RCA's Naesh Hussain walked away with both the highest run scorer and player of the series awards carrying cash prize of Rs 2,500 and Rs 5,000 each and trophies as he amassed 786 runs and picked 18 wickets in 8 innings of the tournament.
