Double delight for Aditya Balsekar in ATTA National Ranking Tennis tourney

Imphal, September 19 2025: Aditya Balsekar has clinched both the men's singles and doubles' titles in the AITA 1 Lakh Men's National Ranking Tennis hosted by Manipur Tennis Association at Officers' Club Tennis Complex, Lamphelpat.

Aditya defeated Anurag Reddy 6-4, 6-4 in an all Maharashtra final to seal the men's singles top honour.

Aditya also paired up with West Bengal's W O Brien to seal the doubles title later in the day.

They won 6-3, 7-6 (7-5) against Mayand Tiwari and Siddharth SS to claim the doubles title.

P Nishikanta, retd HOD, Anaesthesia, RIMS and H Ibotombi, president Manipur Tennis Association attended the valedictory function as distinguished guests.

Aditya received a cash prize of Rs 12,500 in the singles competition as the runner up Anurag Reddy settled for the cash prize of Rs 8,400 .

The semi-finalists - T Mayand and O Brien also received Rs 4755 rupees each as quarterfinalists and prequarterfinalists received Rs 2850 and 1750 each.

Aditya also shared Rs 6,200 with his doubles partner O Brien as Mayand and Siddharth settled for a cash prize of Rs 3,800 .

Semifinallists and quarter finalists were also encouraged with Rs 1,900 and Rs 1750 cash prizes.
