2nd MNCA U-15 Women's One Day Trophy : AKSDO crush MPA by 229 runs to consolidate pole position

AKSDO (W), Khangabok notched up a huge 229-run victory against MPA, Thounaojam in their 8th and final league stage encounter of the 2nd MNCA U-15 Women's One Day Trophy for the seventh win and to consolidate themselves on top of the table.
Bijaya Khundrakpam starred with both the bat and ball in this match staged at THAU ground as she scored a 93-ball 108 (10 fours) to help AKSDO post 238 runs for 5 wickets in 30 overs and collected 4 scalps in 1.3 overs to set up MPA collapse at 9 within 11.3 overs.

Yumnam Echapamu 2/38, Salainganbi Thokchom 1/68 and Pukhrambam Annanya 1/38 were among the wickets for MPA after AKSDO won the toss and opted to bat first.
They also conceded 72 extras in this innings.
In response, MPA plummeted to 9 all out as Bijaya (4/0 in 1.3 overs) and Rabina Khundrakpam (4/1 in 6 overs) combined well to share 8 wickets.
Bijiya Khundrakpam deservingly walked away with the player of the match trophy.
Elsewhere at PCC ground, Mayaikoibi, FORCE, Kshetrigao capped their league campaign with a 128 run victory against Al-Ameen, Lilong.
Asked to bat first, FORCE racked up 237 runs for 6 wickets in 30 overs and bowled out Al-Ameen for 109 runs in 28.3 overs to seal the fifth win and finish fourth in the league table.
Kh Rukshad 42 off 66 balls, Sumeiya Shahni 38 off 28 balls, Wakila Shahni 30 off 38 balls and Sangomsumpham Sadiya 26 off 36 balls were the leading run getters for FORCE in the first innings that saw Linthoi Khulem (2/32), Farhana (1/41), Najiya Begum (1/45) and Konthoujam Shinthoihenbi (1/51) share five wickets for Al-Ameen.
For Al-Ameen, Linthoi Khulem 24, Farhana 14 and Rabiaa Banu Tampakmayum 12 were the leading scorers as Nazmin Khanam (3/17), Kh Rukshad (2/16) and Rahamatun (2/16) shared 7 wickets. Kh Rukshad was eventually adjudged player of the match.
Table toppers AKSDO will play THAU in the title clash on February 17 at THAU ground, Thangmeiband.
