3rd MNCA Women's T-20 : Cricket: SHADOW, AKSDO emerge victorious

SHADOW Thangmeiband and AKSDO Khangabok emerged victorious in today's league matches of the 3rd MNCA Women's T-20 Trophy 2024-25 at THAU Ground, Thangmeiband, Imphal.
In the first match of the day, SHADOW Thangmeiband defeated PCC Mayaikoibi by 5 wickets.
SHADOW knocked 102 for 5 wickets in 16.2 overs to beat PCC's 101 for 5 wickets in 20 overs.
In the second match, AKSDO Khangabok beat TCMDC Thongju II Pechu Lampak by a massive 9 wickets.
AKSDO knocked 60 for 1 wicket in 8.1 overs to beat TCMDC's 59 for 10 wickets in 18.4 overs.
SHADOW vs PCC
PCC won the toss and opted to bat first to amass 101 for 5 wickets in 20 overs.
Keithellakpam Katrina Devi, who retired hurt, knocked 31 runs off 56 balls for PCC.
Hemam Lingjen Devi scored 23 runs off 45 balls.
Nongthombam Langlenthoibi Chanu (4 runs off 8 balls), Okram Yashica Devi (6 runs off 8 balls), Nilopher Tokpam (1 run off 3 balls) and Rajluxmi Sairem (3 runs off 4 balls) failed to make meaningful contributions.
Deeva Ch scored zero.
SHADOW's Kebriya Devi Sapam took 3 wickets and Priyanshee Hanglem dismissed one wicket.
In SHADOW'S chase, Kebriya Devi Sapam remained not out, knocking a massive 53 runs including 6 fours and one six off 55 balls.
Victoria Thokchom (22 runs off 28 balls), Shilheibi Seram (1 run off 5 balls) and Hanglem Malemnganbi (2 runs off 8 balls) contributed runs to SHADOW'S winning knock of 102 runs for 5 wickets in 16.2 overs.
PCC's Keithellakpam Katrina Devi took 3 wickets.
Hemam Lingjen Devi and Nongthombam Langlenthoibi Chanu dismissed one wicket each.
AKSDO vs TCMDC
TCMDC won the toss and opted to bat to score only 59 runs for 10 wickets in 18.4 overs.
Only Athokpam Tennish Devi (21 runs off 34 balls) scored a double-digit run for TCMDC.
Yensembam Nikita Chanu (5 runs off 7 balls), Ningthoisana Thoudam (6 runs off 4 balls), Sothoi Thongam (6 runs off 15 balls), Thongam Belina Devi (1 run off 4 balls) and Laishram Lanchenbi (6 runs off 32 balls) contributed runs to TCMDC's meagre 59 runs.
AKSDO's Lucyrani Khundrakpam took 3 wickets.
Rabina Khundrakpam, Moirangthem Lucky Devi and Thokchom Langlen Chanu took 2 wickets each.
In their easy chase for the target, AKSDO lost only one wicket and scored 60 runs in 8.1 overs to beat TCMDC.
Olebia Khundrakpam (32 runs off 30 balls) and Taniya Ningthoujam (4 runs off 7 balls) remained not out.
Daina Moirangthem scored 10 runs off 13 balls.
Yensembam Nikita Chanu took the lone wicket for TCMDC .
