DYASO Chandel to conduct pre National School Games trials

Imphal, September 11 2026: The District Youth Affairs and Sports Office (DYASO), Chandel is set to conduct pre National School Games district level trials for various disciplines from September 14 onwards. The disciplines, age groups and trial dates are as follows.

Taekwondo (U14/U17 B&G) from September 14 to 15; Wushu (U17/U19 B&G), Boxing (U14/U17/U19 B&G), Judo (U14/U17/U19 B&G), Rugby (U19 B&G), TT (U14/U17 B&G), Handball (U14/U17 B&G) and Thang-Ta (U14/U17/U19 B&G) from September 16 to 17; Weightlifting (U17/U19 B&G), Wrestling (FS) (U14 boys and U19 girls), Wrestling (G/R) (U17 Boys) from September 18 to 20; Football (U14/U17/U19 B&G) from September 24 to 25; Volleyball (U17/U19 B&G) from September 27 to 28; Shooting (U14/U17 B&G), Kabaddi (U17 B&G) and Badminton (U14/U17 B&G) from September 25 to 26; Kho-Kho (U17 B&G), Karate-Do (U14/ U17 B&G), Kurash (U14 B and U17 B&G) and Fencing (U14/U17/U19 B&G); Sepaktakraw (U14/U17/U19 B&G), Cycling (R&T) (U14/U17 B&G), Baseball (U17 B&G), Netball (U17 B&G), Gymnastics (U14/U17/U19 B&G) and Archery (U14/U17/U19 B&G); Swimming and Diving (U14/U17 B&G), Softball (U17 B&G), Squash (U19 B&G), Hockey (U17/U19 B&G) and Basketball (U17 B&G) from October 5 to 8 .

The last date of form submission is September 13, said YDASO Chandel in a press release.

DYASO Jiribam is also set to conduct trials for various disciplines from September 15 onwards.

The disciplines for which the trials are to be held on September 15 are Wushu, Taekwondo, Boxing, Judo, Weightlifting, Rugby, Table Tennis, Handball and Thang-Ta while trials for Wrestling, Athletics, Basketball, Football, Shooting and Kabaddi will be held on September 17 .

The last date for entry form submission for trials scheduled on September 15 and 17 is September 13 .

Meanwhile, the trials for Badminton, Kho-Kho, Karate-Do, Hockey, Kurash, Volleyball, Sepaktakraw, Cycling (R/T) and Fencing will be conducted on September 18.The last date for entry submission for these trials is September 15.The trials for Baseball, Netball, Gymnastics, Archery, Swimming and Diving, Softball, and Squash will be held on September 20.The last date for entry form submission for these trials is September 17 .

All the trial selections will be held at Bidyanagar Sports Complex, said DYASO Jiribam in a press release.
