Imphal, May 09 2026: NCA, Nambol defeated SSC, Porompat by 8 wickets for the third straight Group A victory in the ongoing 5th MNCA Boys U-14 One Day Trophy 2025-26 today at Public Ground, Khangabok Cherapur Public Ground.

NCA rode on a concerted bowling effort to dismiss toss winners SSC for 95 runs in 16.3 overs and cruised to the winning 101 in 17.1 overs at the cost of two wickets.

Ajman 31 off 36 balls and Arman Malik 11 off 18 balls were the only double digit run getters for the Porompat side as NCA skipper Thongam Rahul led the way by picking four wickets alone (4/32 in 6 overs).

Thingbaijam Avinash (2/21 in 3.3 overs), Keisham Ropesh (2/25 in 5 overs) and M Thoithoiba (2/9 in 2 overs) meanwhile shared a bulk of 6 wickets to cut SSC innings short.

In reply, A Tollar 27 off 45 balls and Thiyam Nganba 15 off 43 balls gave NCA early momentum by adding 64 runs together for the first wicket before Thongam Rahul quickfired 21 of 13 including a six to finish off the chase with Toijam Bhartesh (1 off 5 balls).

Annan Malik (1/27) and Ajman (1/16) were among the wickets for SSC in the second innings.

Elsewhere at Moijing Public Ground, SHADOW, Thangmeiband crushed PCC, Mayaikoibi by 110 runs for the second straight Group D win thanks to Tomthinnganba Rajkumar's all-round show.

Tomthinnganba Rajkumar shone with a 51-ball 70 to lead SHADOW to 181/7 in 30 overs.

before Tomthinnganba Rajkumar (4/ 8 in 3.2 overs) and Venson Yumnam (2/11) led in bundling out PCC for 71 runs in 19.2 overs.

In a Group F match staged at Khudeiband Lampak, THAU, Thangmeiband thumped CCK, Khongman by 42 runs.
