Imphal, November 05 2026: Youth Welfare Club, Malom (YWC-M) bounced back in style to thrash Yaiskul Athletic Club (YAC), Yaiskul 3-0, securing their third victory and climbing to the top of the 1st Salam Sanatomba Singh Memorial Super Division Football League 2026-27 .

Having recently seen their three-game unbeaten streak snapped in a narrow 1-2 loss to NC Club, YWC-M reclaimed their momentum with a clinical performance driven by goals from Chaphamayum Rabikumar, Ingudam Suraj, and Konthoujam Lemba.

Chaphamayum Rabikumar broke the deadlock in the 25th minute, giving YWC-M a hard-earned 1-0 lead heading into the first-half whistle.

The second half transformed into a high-stakes tactical battle.

YAC fought desperately to find an equalizer, while YWC-M pushed to double their advantage.

Both defensive lines stood firm for the majority of the half, keeping fans on the edge of their seats.

YWC-M's relentless attacking pressure finally wore down the YAC backline in the dying minutes of the game.

A rapid-fire double blow sealed the result, as Ingudam Suraj found the net in the 89th minute, followed immediately by a 90th-minute strike from Konthoujam Lemba to completely shut the door on any hopes of a YAC comeback.

With the win, YWC-M amassed 10 points from 5 matches to provisionally hold pole position.
