Schedules for MU Inter College Sports Competitions announced

Imphal, September 04 2026: The schedules for Manipur University Inter College Sports Competitions and trial selections for preparation of MU teams for Inter University Tournaments have been announced.

MU Inter Colleges Tournaments will begin with Kabaddi for men and women (M&W) beginning on September 17 (to 18), as per a memorandum issued by Assistant Director of Sports, MU .

The Table Tennis Tournament (M&W) will be held from September 24 to 25, Volleyball (M&W) from September 28 to 30, Handball from October 1 to 3, Judo (M&W) from October 5 to 6, Thang-Ta (M&W) from October 8 to 9, Badminton (M&W) from October 12 to 13, Archery (M&W) from October 28 to 29, Basketball (M&W) from October 30-31, Football (W) from November 2 to 3, Football (M) from November 10, Best Physique (M) on November 25, Softball (M&W) from November 26 to 27, Powerlifting (M&W) and Weightlifting (M&W) on from December 1 to 2, Chess (M&W) from December 3 to 4, Shooting (M&W) from December 7, Wrestling (M&W) from December 8 to 9, Yoga (M&W) from January 5 to 6 and Mukna on January 8 .

The schedules for trial selection of 10 disciplines were announced.

The disciplines include- Tennis (M) on Sep 29, Hockey (M&W) on October 1, Boxing (M&W) on October 5, Cycling (M&W) on October 7, Fencing (M&W) on October 15, Taekwondo (M&W) on October 21, Athletics (M&W) on November 6, Ball-Badminton (M&W) on November 16, Wushu (M&W) on from November 19 to 20 and Sepaktakraw (M&W) on November 23 .
