IWDFA lines up district league tournaments

Imphal, July 04 2025: The Imphal West District Football Association (IWDFA) has announced the tentative schedule for top division district league tournaments for the season 2025-26 .

As per a memorandum issued by the association, the district level Super Division and 1st Division Football League tournaments will be held from the second week of August.

IFC, Lamphel; CHIKL, Lilong Chajing; KYC-N, Khurkhul; Juvenile Club, Tera; NC Club, Khonghampat and YWC, Malom are the teams in the fray for the Super Division League title.

The Super Division teams should registered on the Competition Management System of the All India Football Federation Meanwhile, PAMYAL, Patsoi; YAC, Yaiskul; KAN, Kadangband; BMSC, Taobungkhok; SOYO, Sanjenbam; YUC, Irom Meijrao and SJC, Salam will be competing in the district level First Division League tournament.

THAU, Thangmeiband; MTSU, Malom; ESA, Mayang Imphal; TSFA, Top Siphai; NBCA, Takyel Khongbal; SCK, Kodompokpi and SKYC, Awang Sekmai in the meantime will be competing in the Second Division League tournament.

The teams for the Third Division tier, which will also feature newly affiliated teams, were not particularly mentioned.

The Third Division teams must field not less than 8 U-17 players, it said.

All the concerned district teams must clear their due renewal fees latest by August 1.Further details can be had from the office of IWDFA .
