MU Inter College Physique Competition : Standard College emerge team champions, SEMCO's Olenjit adjudged overall champ

Imphal, December 02 2025: Mayanglambam Olenjit of South East Manipur College (SEMCO) was adjudged overall champion as hosts Standard College emerged team champions of the Manipur University Inter College Physique Competition held at the college's auditorium hall today.

In the competition that was conducted with the assistance of the All Manipur Body Builders Association, Standard College secured 16 points thanks to podium finishes made by RK Mangai (1st in 70 kg category), Thokchom Yaisana (1st in 75 kg category), Meitankeishangbam Bamold (2nd in 80 kg category competition) .

Chongtham Bidyananda also finished fourth in the 75 kg category competition.

Brahmacharimayum Ronad Sharma of NIELIT finished second in the 70 kg category competition.

SEMCO meanwhile finished team runners up on 10 points courtesy of Mayanglambam Olenjit's top place performance in the 80 kg category competition.

Ijash of Kanan Devi Memorial College was third in the 80 kg category competition.

Sanjenbam Kumjalemba of NG College meanwhile clinched the 65 kg category competition as Lourembam Kiyamba of Pravabati College finished second, Waikhom Chinglemba of Manipur College finished third and Mayongthei Shingnaisni of St Joseph College, Ukhrul finished fourth.

Laishram Ngamthoiba of L Sanoi College (60 kg), Wangkheimayum Chalamba of Budhachandra College (85 kg), Ksh Niraj of Kha Manipur College (90 kg) and Chandam Kangleinganba of NG College (90+kg) were lone competitors in their respective weight categories in the competition.
