3rd MNCA U-19 Men's One Day Trophy : PTRC complete league stage sweep with 174-run thrashing of SSC

PTRC, Patsoi Part IV completed Group E league stage sweep in the 3rd MNCA U-19 Men's One Day Trophy with a 174-run thrashing of SSC, Porompat at Lairenjam Public Ground.
Pheiroijam Tamarland yet again produced an allround performance to hand PTRC the 174-run victory and eventually walked away with the player of the match trophy.
Tamarland quickfired 52 off 25 balls after Salam Richie posted 45 off 34 to inspire PTRC a total of 205 runs for all wickets down in 33 overs after they won the toss and opted to bat first.
SCC however slumped to 31 all out in 21.4 overs as Sagolshem Bush (3/1 in 2 overs), Laitonjam James (3/5 in 4.4 overs), Ph Tamarland (2/3 in 4 overs) and Laitonjam Jackson (2/12 in 5 overs) wreaked havoc.
Earlier in the first innings, Altamas Sheik (2/36 in 6 overs), Amir Raj 2/45 overs) and Nadir (2/38 in 7 overs) picked two wickets apiece for SSC before Ajman on 7 emerged the top scorer in the chase.
With the result, PTRC consolidated their place on top of the Group D table on 10 points and they are all but qualified for the next round.
AMCA solidify position on top of Group A
AMCA, Thoubal bolstered their position on top of Group A table as they beat MPA, Thounaojam by 23 runs in their final league round match at Moijing Public Ground.
AMCA amassed 195/9 after opting to bat first as SS Albash 39 off 57, Hanif 38 off 38 and Moichingmayum Md Yakin 36 off 59 led the scoring before Thoubalmayum Mustakim (4/26 in 8 overs) and Moichingmayum Md Yakin (2/29 in 8 overs) set up MPSC collapse in 38 overs at 172 despite Chongtham Sitaranjan's 84-ball 44 and Elangbam Lucky's 39-ball 39.For MPA, Th Chinglensana (2/21), Ch Sitaranjan (2/28) and Ch Priyokumar (2/30) shared 6 wickets as two others picked a wicket apiece.
Mustakim was eventually adjudged player of the match.
YPHUC, SU seal second wins
The day also YPHUC, Lalambung tame THAU, Thangmeiband by 123 runs at Khudeiband Lampak, Taothong as Irom Sunny enjoyed a fifer (5/3 in 4.2 overs) while Jangammei Maringmei (3/21) and Irom Ishor (2/13) shared another five wickets to dismantle THAU for just 38 runs in 20.2 overs after they amassed 161 for 10 in 33.3 overs.
With the result, YPHUC ended their Group B campaign with 4 points off two wins in five matches.
Meanwhile,SU, Sagolband ended their Group D league campaign with an 8-wicket thrashing of Al-Ameen for the second win at Khangabok Cherapur Public Ground.
Sagolsem Hemjit picked four wickets (4/21 in 5 overs) and Keisham Anderson (2/24 in 6 overs) and RK Philan (2/16 in 1.4 overs) shared four wickets to help SU dismiss Al-Ameen for 140 runs in 21.4 overs before RK Philan 27 and K Anderson 26 produced an unbeaten third wicket partnership to steer SU to winning 144 in 28.2 overs.
