45th Junior Boys State Level Volleyball Championship : AMIMYDO, DVA, HVA, NYVA enter quarterfinals in style

Imphal, September 01 2025: AMIMYDO, Mayang Imphal; DVA, Thoubal; HVA, Heigrujam and NYVA, Naorem all entered the 45th Junior Boys State Level Volleyball Championship quarterfinals with league stage sweeps today at NYVA, Naorem ground.

Having beaten UNT, Top Siphai in straight sets and PRSC, Pourabi by 3-1 sets in the previous Group A matches, AMIMYDO overcame EAGLE, Ukhrul in straight sets (25-15, 26-24, 26-24) to finish group winners and qualify for the quarterfinals.

AMIMYDO will play YPC, Ishok who finished Group B runners up, in the first quarterfinal match tomorrow.

45th Junior Boys State Level Volleyball Championship

Meanwhile, DVA emerged Group B winners by defeating PASI, Kamjong 25-21, 25-21, 26-24 for the second win today.

They had earlier defeated YPC Ishok in straight sets.

They will now face Group D runners up KSA, Irengbam in the second quarterfinal match.

HVA meanwhile emerged Group C winners by defeating MRC, Mairenkhong in straight sets today (25-11, 25-11, 25-15) .

They had beaten SLC, Maibam in straight sets.

Despite the loss, MRC qualified for the quarterfinals as group runners up.

HVA, will face Group A runners up UNT, Top Siphai in the third quarter final match tomorrow.

Hosts NYVA, Naorem on the other hand completed the league stage sweep today by defeating 11 Star, Wangoo in straight sets (25-15, 25-15, 25-10) .

They had opened their winning account with a 3-1 sets victory against KSA, Irengbam yesterday.

NYVA will now face group C runners up MRC in the last quarterfinal match tomorrow.

The semi-finals are slated for September 3 from 8 am onwards before the final match that will be held later in the day from 2.30 pm .
