Imphal, November 23 2015: Troops of 20 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector AR under the aegis of IGAR (South) participated in the Sunday Mass at Komlathabi village Church, Chandel on November 22.Troops from the unit joined the locals in the prayers, said a statement issued by the PRO of Assam Rifles.

About 300 people attended the Mass.

A song was presented by the troops as part of the prayers.

The Commandant conveyed his best wishes on behalf of the Assam Rifles to all for the forthcoming Christmas and New Year.

The village authorities appreciated the participation of Assam Rifles and also expressed that such events will strengthen the bonding between the Assam Rifles and the local people.
