Assn condemns assault on hawker

Imphal, July 13 2024: Manipur Hawkers' Association has condemned the assault on one of its members by unidentified people at around 11.30 pm on Friday.

In a release, the Association informed that some unidentified people intruded by breaking the door of house of hawker Senjam Nanao Singh, son of Senjam Ibomcha in Yairipok Top Chingtha Laimang and thrashed him black and blue.

Condemning the assault, the Association said that the hawker has been sustaining his livelihood by rendering service to the people by distributing newspapers.

It further urged to all not repeat such act in future.
