State logs two new Covid cases

Imphal, July 08 2025: Two new cases of Covid-19 were reported on Tuesday, according to the latest status update from the Integrated DiseaseSurveillance Programme (IDSP) .

The new cases were detected from 23 samples tested, marking a daily positivity rate of 8.7 per cent.

This brings the total number of positive cases in the state to 304.Imphal West continues to report the highest number of cases, followed by Imphal East and Bishnupur districts.

The number of active cases in the state has declined to 41, with most patients under home isolation.

A total of 263 individuals have recovered and been discharged, as recoveries continue to outpace active cases.
