Imphal, January 16:
The UNLF claimed that six security personnel were killed when one vehicle carrying the Indian soldiers got caught in a booby trap laid by its cadres at a spot in between Sijol and Tuilaphai in Henglep area of CCpur district at about 3.30 pm today.
A spokesman of the outfit claimed that the vehicle was the last in a convoy of five vehicles.
As soon as it hit the booby trap, the cadres attacked the security personnel with 79 mm guns (lethod guns) killing six of them on the spot while injuring many others.
