Imphal, January 03 2012:
The United Naga People's Council has announced that it has boycotted the Naga People's Front.
In a statement, UNPC said that it stands for better relationship between the people of the hills and the valley (Ching+Tam) and added that NPF is formed under the banner of the NSCN (IM) as a last resort to break the Nagas of Manipur.
NPF is a political organisation of Nagaland and hence should not interfere in the affairs of Manipur.
The UNPC and its armed wing the Ching-Tam Liberation Army stand for the unity and peace of the people of Manipur, added the statement.
