Sainik FC donates Buddha statue to alma mater

Imphal, October 30 2025: The Sainik School Old Boys Football Club (SFC) handed over a life size statue of Gautam Buddha to their alma mater Sainik School Imphal today.

The statue was installed within the school premises to inspire cadets to lead lives guided by values of discipline, compassion, and mindfulness, said a press release.

The event was graced by the Principal, Col A Rajiv, along with members of the SFC and staff of the school.

Speaking on the occasion, the Principal appreciated the generous gesture of the alumni while the alumni expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the institution that shaped their character and careers.

The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Senior Master A Rommel Singh.
