Thoubal, July 28 2025: The Nongpok Sayang Apunba Lup (NSAL) has extended its full support to the eviction order issued by Thoubal Deputy Commissioner Hannah Kamei targeting illegal encroachments on public spaces across the district.

The order, which mandates the removal of unauthorized occupants by July 30, has been welcomed by the NSAL as a necessary step towards safeguarding public land from further encroachment.

In connection with the eviction drive, a meeting was convened today at Bishnunaha Youth Federation Yairipok (BYFY) Office by NSAL, an apex body of various clubs, organisation, associations of Phanjakhong-Chandrakhong to Thoubal Kshetri Leikai, presided by NSAL president, Ananda Laishram.
