Kakching, May 28 2025: Under the Rastriya Kishor Swasthya Karyakram (RKSK) Adolescent Health (AH) Programme, Menstrual Hygiene Day was observed on Wednesday at Koinonia Training School under the theme 'Period Friendly World' .

As part of the programme, RMNCH, Chandel district counsellor Amanda Watham spoke as resource person on 'Importance of good menstrual hygiene management' .

The event was attended by RKSK AH Programme, Chandel staff, school teachers and students.

Later, a health check-up along with Body Mass Index (BMI) and Haemoglobin (HB) tests were conducted and sanitary pads distributed.
