Kakching, June 25 2025: The 22nd death anniversary of Tripura's first Meetei MLA Rajkumar Kamaljit was held at the office of Marup, Mathchowmuhani, Agartala, Tripura on Tuesday.

The programme organised by Tripura's only weekly newspaper Marup was attended by Shree Shree Radha Madhab Debatabari pradhan purohit Shijagurumayum Abhijit Bhattacharjee as the functional president while the welcome address was delivered by Kamaljit's son and Marup editor Tarunjit.

The event was marked by paying of floral tributes to the photo of RK Kamaljit, observance of two minutes' silence in his memory and poetry recitation by seven poets.
