Students boycott classes indefinitely, lock Administrative Block

Imphal, February 21 2026: Aggrieved by DM University's lack of action even as LMS College's Bar Council affiliation is set to expire in June, students locked the Administrative Block and classrooms of the College today.

The students have launched an indefinite class boycott in protest.

Speaking in this connection, Y Wangthoi, general secretary, LMS Law College Students Union said that requests were submitted repeatedly to the concerned authority about the matter.

As they have failed to initiate any tangible steps in this regard till date, the students resolved to boycott classes indefinitely, he said.
