Imphal, December 16 2025: The Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) has notified that there will be temporary changes in the water supply roster in areas under the jurisdiction of the Canchipur Water Supply Scheme.

The adjustment in the supply schedule has become necessary due to the lowering of river water below the base level at Imphal and Iril rivers, affecting normal water abstraction and distribution.
