SARUWA appeals for Sangaithel Rd repairing

Imphal, July 16 2025: Sangaithel Road United Welfare Association (SARUWA) has appealed to authorities concerned to repair the 15-km stretch of Sangaithel Road from Patsoi Lamkhai to Longa Koireng at the earliest.

In a release, SARUWA secretary S Inao Meitei stated that the road is in a deplorable condition due to the onset of.

the monsoon season and the movement of heavy vehicles for NF Railway and private purposes, making it accident-prone.

Urging authorities to repair the dilapidated road without delay, the association cautioned of launching protests, including restricting movement of heavy vehicles, if the appeal is ignored.
