AR organises tree plantation drive

Imphal, May 15 2025: Assam Rifles, as part of its commitment to community service and environmental stewardship, organized a tree plantation drive in New Khogen village, Kangpokpi today.

As per a release issued by IGAR (East), a total of 14 civilians were present for the event along with Assam Rifles personnel, who planted a total of 110 saplings.

The initiative aims to promote environmental awareness and sustainability among the local populace, and is a part of the Assam Rifles' continued efforts to foster ecological balance and community engagement in remote areas.
