Imphal, September 12 2026: The nine-day '16th Unnou Konde Hunba' event organised by Uttra Shanglen, Sana Konung began today at Uttra Shanglen, Sana Konung, Palace Compound.

The inaugural function was attended by Art and Culture Minister Khuraijam Loken as chief guest, Lamlai AC MLA Khongbantabam Ibomcha, Wangkhei AC MLA Thangjam Arunkumar, Sana Konung Angom Ningthou Angom Poireiton as guests of honour and former Rajya Sabha MP Maharaja Leishemba Sanajaoba as president.

Director Health Services Dr M Hemantakumar attended as special invitee.

The event was inaugurated with Pena Thougal, 'Anam Athou Kokpa' and 'Thougal Jagoi' .
