Hungyo Worshang named MSCST chairperson

Imphal, August 11 2025: The government has nominated Hungyo Worshang as the chairperson of Manipur State Commission for Scheduled Tribes (MSCST) in addition to his current charge.

The appointment, made under Section 3(2)(a) of the Manipur State Commission for the Scheduled Tribes Act, 2014, will remain in effect until further orders, according to an official notification issued by the additional chief secretary of tribal affairs and hills.
